This months Agenda:
Session 1:
For the Fireside Chat – Paul Green will be interviewing Andy Nisevic 😁
Andy Nisevic is the founder & Director of One Degree, a leadership development company specializing in helping SMEs hire, keep and develop highly capable staff.
Before starting One Degree, Andy was a full-time regular in the RAF, for 23-yrs. He was a leader for over 20 years, responsible for developing leaders for over 15-yrs, and in his last role, he was part of the executive team responsible for provision of RAF wide leadership training.
Andy has been a trainer for over 20-yrs, a mentor for over 15, and 2-yrs ago added professional coaching to his skills portfolio. He passionately disagrees with common leadership training that’s accredited to a national qualification. He feels this encourages a “one-size-fits-all” approach that simply doesn’t work. He’s also resolute in his belief that “Leadership & Management” training, when wrapped together is ineffective. They’re 2 completely different skill sets, that require a bespoke approach. The only overlap is they both involve people; it’s like saying that an archaeologist and paleontologist can be trained together because they both involve digging old things up from the ground!
Andy is an advocate of a bespoke, holistic, approach to leadership development that looks at the individual’s reality. Their personality, their communication styles, their strengths portfolio, and those of their team members. He combines training, coaching, mentoring, psychometric assessment, and team performance work to create leaders capable of rising to any leadership challenge. This will give businesses leaders who create cultures where employees feel engaged, and are fulfilled, highly resilient, and high performing.
After the break: (15mins to network and grab a tea/coffee top up and breakfast roll.)
Session 2:
We conclude the meeting with a 20 min table networking session, a great way of getting to know fellow attendees
