As we’re sure you’re aware, the much acclaimed bi-annual Gravity Fields Science Festival returns to Grantham from the 26th to the 29th September and this year is focusing on Joseph Banks’ trip with Captain Cook aboard The Endeavour, down into the southern hemisphere where they discovered the ‘New World’ and also scientifically mapped the Transit of Venus across the Sun.
Throughout the duration of the festival, Grantham Museum is hosting a number of exhibitions to support the theme and one of these is a Floral Exhibition depicting 8 clear stages of the Voyage board HMS Endeavour. As you might imagine, to create these magnificent displays is going to be expensive as tropical flora and fauna will have to be used but we have been able to get local flower arrangers to donate their time to create each display.
Your involvement would be greatly appreciated and therefore would like to invite you to support this display by the way of Corporate Sponsorship.
It is envisaged that the 8 displays will cost around £100 each and you can either sponsor a complete single stage of the voyage (or more if your pockets are deep) or give a smaller donation (say £50) towards the overall cost.
This is such a fabulous opportunity to get involved in this major national scientific festival at a relatively small cost and I hope very much you feel this is something you can support.
If you confirm your commitment by Wednesday, 29th August, your company logo will appear on the signage, in the brochure and also The Grantham Journal coverage. You will also received a personal invitation to the opening event on Wednesday, 26th September, 4pm at The Museum.
Please email Sue Hodgson at email@example.com if this is something you would like to take part in, together with your logo and confirmation of the amount you would like to sponsor.
